Tänzerinnen. Orig.-Lithographie. Signiert und datiert. 1922. Auf chamoisfarbenem Bütten mit Wasserzeichen "Bergisch-Gladbach". 49,6 : 38,3 cm. Papierformat 62 : 51,5 cm.
Dynamische Tanzszene mit einem Einblick in die Welt der Varietés der frühen 1920er Jahre.
Dritter Zustand (von 3) mit dem deutlich hervorgehobenem Schriftzug über dem Vorhang. - In etwa 50 graphischen Arbeiten hat sich Heckel während seiner Schaffensperiode immer wieder dem Thema Tanz, Varieté und Zirkus gewidmet. Die radikal vereinfachte Formsprache spiegelt die unkonventionelle und sinnfrohe Welt in den Theatern und Varietés der Zeit wieder.
- ZUSTAND: Stark gebräunt durch Passepartout-Ausschnitt, leichte Knickspuren am unteren Rand, Ecken gebräunt, verso mit 2 Montierungsresten (leicht durchschlagend).

On chamois-colored laid paper with the watermark "Bergisch-Gladbach". 49.6 : 38.3 cm. Paper size 62 : 51.5 cm. - Heavily browned due to matting, slight creases along the lower edge, leaf corners browned, 2 mounting remnants on the reverse (slightly shining through).
