• As one of Oskar Schlemmer's main works, "Bauplastik R" testifies to his occupation with human proportion, surface, space and architecture at the Bauhaus.
• Posthumous aluminum casts of this sculpture are at, among others, the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart, Bauhaus archive Berlin and the Hirshhorn Foundation, Washington.
