• As of 1962 Albers attained his characteristic style: Bright, squared color modulations.
• In his paintings and color silkscreens from the signature series "Hommage to the square", Albers examined the interaction of unmixed colors which he coalesces in three to four squared color fields.

In good condition. Slightly and evenly discolored. Lower left slightly crimped. With two tiny foxmarks in the light yellow parts. Bottom margin with a few unobtrusive handling marks. [JS]
