Franken/Van der Kellen 38 and 429-440. - Hollstein XXXIII, 411 II and 463-472. - RISM S 4711. - Eitner IX, 257. - One of the nicest and rarest Dutch songbooks from the early 17th century. This probably the fourth edition. The nice plates by Jan van der Velde, which are also striking in terms of their varying typography, illustrate the unique songbook with rural and courtly scenes, partly in nightly depictions of a high quality. - LL. *2 and **4 missing at the beginning and towards the end ll. D3 and D4. - Partly slightly stained, titleleaf somewhat closely cut and with slight marginal defects, 1 l. torn corner, endpapers renewed latert. All in all good, well-preserved copy.
