Phillips/Le Gear 654. - Small pocket atlas, first published in 1778 and multiple released, the last in 1814, this one without text and title, therefore edition not allocatable. sometimes also registered under L. Domairon. - With a world map in two hemispheres, 13 European maps, 5 Asian, 2 maps on Africa and 6 on America by Brion, Moithey, Beauble et al. The four plates show the starry sky in two hemispheres, the phases of the moon and an armillary sphere. - Plates and maps with a barely noticeable end-to-end folding crease in the upper third, 7 maps sligthly torn in the bottom of the folding. Binding slightly scraped. - All in all an unusually clean copy of the small decorative atlas.
