Sculpture . Welded steel rods, nickel-plated, mounted on marble base at a later point.
Unique object. Ca. 55 x 62 x 12 cm (21.6 x 24.4 x 4.7 in). Marble base plate: 20 x 30 x 1,5 cm ( 7,9 x 11,8 x 0,7 in).
This work was made in context of Kricke's monumental plastic for the public swimming pool on the Grünstraße' in Düsseldorf (1966, 900 x 700 cm). Today it is located at the water park "Düsselstrand" on 'Kettwiger Straße'.

We are grateful to Mrs. Sabine Kricke-Güse and Dr. Ernst-Gerhard Güse for their kind support in cataloging this lot. The work will be included into the forthcoming catalog raisonné.

PROVENANCE: Private collection Rhineland (directly from the artist).
