Twice signed and dated inside the cube. 41.5 x 32.5 x 33 cm (16.3 x 12.7 x 12.9 in).
According to Honisch, the work was restored in 1967, which explains the double signature and date. [AR].
• Unique cube object by the important "ZERO" artist.
• Light, movement, space, reflections, sun reflections, time, dynamics, vibration: the work combines all the important elements of his progressive concept of art.
• In 1958, one year before this work was created, Heinz Mack founded the avant-garde artists' group "ZERO" with Otto Piene.
• Since September 2023, the ZKM Karlsruhe shows an extensive exhibition of the artist with works from all creative phases.
