Beschreibt vor allem die Kleinen Antillen mit den Hauptinseln Guadeloupe und Martinique hinsichtlich Bevölkerung, Geographie, Zoologie und Botanik, liefert aber z. T. auch erste Informationen überhaupt von einigen der kleineren Inseln. - Die Tafeln meist mit Tier- und Pflanzendarstellungen, die Karten zeigen die Karibik, Gouadeloupe, Martinique und St. Christoph. - Die Kupfer 1 und 2 in Bd.
