Schöne handkolorierte England-Ansichten.
Die schönen, großformatigen Ansichten zeigen u. a. verschiedene Seen, interessante Brücken sowie zahlreiche einzelne Cottages. Sie entstanden nach Zeichnungen von J. Wilkinson, gestochen wurden sie von W. F. Wells, sie tragen sämtlich die Verlegeradresse von R. Ackermann in London (datiert 1810), die Bildunterschriften wurden hier von alter Hand eingefügt.
EINBAND: Geglätteter roter Halblederband mit goldgeprägtem Rückentitel auf grünem Leder-Rückenschild. 48,5 : 33 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Folge von 48 handkolorierten getochenen Ansichtentafeln. - ZUSTAND: Ohne den Text, die Tafeln in abweich. Reihenfolge eingebunden. Vorsätze stockfl., insgesamt schönes, sauberes und dekoratives Exemplar. - PROVENIENZ: Exemplar aus der Bibliothek John Warren, mit dessen gest. Wappenexlibris; später in der Sammlung John Harris, zuletzt dänische Privatsammlung.
