First edition of the splendid and monumental work with views of Spain. With engraved title, 1 portrait, 3 engraved title vignettes (of 4), 2 double-page engr. maps and 246 (of 272) copper plates. Contemp. half calf with some gilt decoration and 2 labels on spine. 2 vols. in 4. - Lacking the title page, pp. I-XII and 26 plates in volume II/1. Only slightly foxed, 2-3 plates with visible waterstain, 1 text leaf with small smear, overall clean and well-preserved copy. Bindings slightly rubbed, extremities of spine partly with small defects. - From the private library of King William II of Württemberg.
