Der Großteil der Karten ist 1793 bis 1806 datiert, darunter Karten herausgegeben von Didier Robert de Vaugondy, Charles Franôis Delamarche, Giovanni Rizzi-Zannoni und Antonio Zatta. Mit Weltkarte in zwei Hemisphären, Kontinentkarten von Europa, Afrika, Asien und Nord- und Südamerika und zahlreichen Teilkarten vorwiegend von Frankreich und Italien, ferner Spanien und Portugal, Balkanländer, Skandinavien, Großbritannien und Deutschland. Nahezu alle Karten in typischem Grenzkolorit und mit dekorativen, teils von separaten Platten gedruckten Titelkartuschen oder figürlicher Staffage.

EINBAND: Halblederband der Zt. mit Rückenschild (neu aufgebunden). 54 : 43 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: 66 grenzkolorierte doppelblattgroße Kupferkarten. - ZUSTAND: Wenige Karten gebräunt oder mit Knickspuren im Bereich der Mittelfalte, zwei Karten auf Leinen aufgelegt, insgesamt sauber und überwiegend auf kräftigem Bütten gedruckt. Einbd. berieben. - PROVENIENZ: Mit gest. Wappenexlibris Teodoro F. Tausch (19. Jh.).

Composite atlas, published in Venice, the maps mainly dated 1793 to 1806 and published by Delamarche, Robert de Vaugondy, Rizzi-Zannoni, Zatta et al. With 64 doublepage engr. maps (nearly all with outline coloring) with world map, Europe, Africa, Asia and North and South America, and regional maps mainly of France and Italy, as well as Spain and Portugal, the Eastern countries, Scandinavia, Great Britain, Germany et al. With decorative figural scenes and floral title cartouches, partly printed from separate plates. Contemp. half calf with label on spine (binding of the maps renewed). - Only few maps tanned or with creases near the centrefold, 2 maps completely rebacked with canvas, overall well-preserved and the maps printed mainly on strong paper.
