Zuallarts Beschreibung des Heiligen Landes nach eigenen Eindrücken, die er im Jahr 1586 auf einer sechsmonatigen Pilgerreise von Rom nach Jerusalem als Reisebegleiter und Lehrer eines jungen Adeligen sammelte, erschien in mehreren Ausgaben und Übersetzungen. "This work is of importance especially for its numerous illustrations, which were used by several other writers on Palestine" (Blackmer).
EINBAND: Späterer Halbpergamentband. 4to. 23 : 78 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit illustriertem Kupfertitel, gestochenem Porträt des Autors und 51 Textkupfern mit Karten, Ansichten und Plänen (davon 2 blattgroß). - KOLLATION: 10 Bll. (inkl. Kupfertitel und -Porträt), 402 S., 5 Bll. - ZUSTAND: Leicht gebräunt und etw. fleckig, Vorsätze stellenw. mit kl. Wurmspuren, Kupfertitel mit altem Bibliotheksstempel. Kanten leicht berieben, Ecken bestoßen.
