EINBAND: Lederbände der Zeit mit reicher floraler Rückenvergoldung und 2 farbigen Rückenschildern, mit goldgepr. Wappensupralibros der Stadt Maastricht. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit gest. Titelvignette, gest. Kopfvignette, 2 illustrierten gefalteten Kupfertiteln, 68 Kupfertafeln (50 gefaltet) und 10 gefalteten Kupferkarten. - ZUSTAND: Gering stockfleckig, Vorsätze stellenw. leicht leimschattig, ansonsten innen schönes Exemplar. Einbde. etw. berieben, Kapital von Bd. II oben mit kl. Fehlstelle, Deckel von Bd. IV mit zwei Schabstellen durch Wurmfraß. - PROVENIENZ: Aus der Bibliothek von Jan Willem Six van Vromade (1872-1936).

First edition of this compilation of "L'etat de la Suisse" (A. Ruchat) and "Les delices .." (A. Stanyan), edited by J. G. Altmann. 4 vols. With engr. title vignette, engr. vignette, 2 engr. folding title pages, 68 engr. plates with views (50 folding) and 10 folding engr. maps, mainly after Scheuchzer and Merian. Contemp. calf with rich floral gilt decoration and 2 labels on spine, with gilt armorial supralibros (the coat of arms of Maastricht). - Slightly foxed. Endpapers slighty gluestained in places, otherwise clean copy on the inside. Bindings somewhat rubbed, head of spine of vol. II with slightly chipped, boards of vol. VI with scrapemarks by worming. - From the library of Jan Willem Six de Vromade (1872-1936).
