Mit Ansichten von St. James's Palace, Carlton House, Westminster Abbey, St. Martin's in the Fields, Grosvenor Square, Berkeley Square, Drury Lane Theatre, Covent Garden Theatre, British Museum, Royal Academy, Charing Cross, Soho Square, Hyde Park Corner, Royal Exchange, St. Paul's Cathedral, London Bridge, Cheapside, Newgate, Old Bailey u. a. Unbeschnittenes Exemplar, die Tafeln auf Whatman paper (Wasserzeichen datiert 1815).
EINBAND: Roter Maroquineinband der Zeit mit Rückenvergoldung, Deckel mit zweifachem Rahmen aus 3- und 4-fachen Fileten mit floralen Eckstücken, sowie floraler Steh- und Innenkantenvergoldung und Kopfgoldschnitt. 28 : 20 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 76 kolorierten Aquatinta-Tafeln (5 gefaltet). - KOLLATION: 4 Bll., 159 S., 1 w. Bl. - ZUSTAND: Leicht gebräunt, Tafeln tlw. mit leichtem Abklatsch, erste Tafel tlw. gelöst. Kanten leicht beschabt. Insgesamt sauberes Exemplar in einem dekorativen Einband der Zeit. - PROVENIENZ: Norddeutsche Privatsammlung.

Collection of views depicting London during the Regency era. With 76 col. aquatint plates (5 folding) on Whatman paper, watermark dated 1815. Uncut copy. Contemp. red morocco with rich gilt decoration on spine and boards, floral gilt decoration on inner edges, top edge also gilt. - Somewhat tanned, the plates partly with offset, 1 plate partly detached, but overall clean copy in a decorative contemp. binding. Edges slightly rubed. - Northern German private collection.
