Sad not so sad is rainshine from rainday on a rainy day. Orig.-Farbserigraphie mit Metallprägungen in 3 Farben. Signiert, datiert, numeriert und bezeichnet "9. April 1970 auf Regentag bei Venedig" sowie mit der Werknummer "680" und "680A", der Seriennummer "B2", 2 roten Inkan-Stempeln und 3 goldgeprägten Stempeln. In der Druckform signiert, betitelt, datiert, bezeichnet "Venezia" und mit der Werknummer "680". 1968/1970. Auf festem Velin von Fabriano (mit Wasserzeichen). 61 : 49 cm. Papierformat 74 : 56 cm.
Eines der 111 Exemplare, die Hundertwasser zur eigenen Verfügung erhielt und mit 5 zusätzlichen Farben und einer dritten Metallprägung überarbeitete sowie mit einer weiteren Signatur versah.
1 von 250 numerierten Exemplaren, Druck durch das Studio Quattro, Campalto-Venice im März 1970. Herausgegeben vom University Art Museum, Berkeley in Kalifornien. Mit den Prägestempeln von Drucker und Verleger. Nach dem Gemälde Die Verkündigung der frohen Botschaft , 1956.
- ZUSTAND: Im Rand leicht wellig und im w. R. stellenw. schwach angeschmutzt, äußerste Seitenränder mit kl. Knickspuren. Insgesamt schönes, farbintensives Blatt.
LITERATUR: Fürst HWG 39 b (von b).
One of the 111 copies that Hundertwasser received for his own use, reworking it with five additional colors and a third metal stamping, as well as adding another signature. Orig. color serigraph with metal stamping in 3 colors. Signed, dated, numbered, and inscribed "9. April 1970 on a rainy day near Venice," as well as with the work numbers "680" and "680A," the serial number "B2," two red Inkan stamps, and three gilt stamps. Signed, titled, dated, inscribed "Venezia" and with the work number "680" in the print. 1968/1970. On heavy Fabriano wove paper (with watermark). 61 : 49 cm. Paper size 74 : 56 cm. - Slightly wavy in the margins and slightly soiled in places in the white margin, outermost margins with small creases. Overall, a beautiful, colorful print.
