Umfangreicher Sammelband des berühmten Architekten L. C. Sturm (1669-1719) nach den Vorbildern von Nikolai Goldmann (1611-1665). Die Kupfer zeigen Ansichten, Grundrisse und Pläne von Kirchen, Palästen, Wohnbauten sowie Säulenordnungen, Triumphbögen und zahlreiche Baudetails.

Vorsatz mit handschriftl. Inhaltsverzeichnis. Tafeln im Rand mit Knickspuren sowie vereinzelt mit Läsuren und Fehlstellen, rechte und linke Ränder knapp beschnitten. Einband fleckig, vorderes Gelenk geplatzt. - PROVENIENZ: Erster Titel mit Bibliotheksstempel Dr. Ludwig Fischer.

The plates with views, floor plans, and plans of churches, palaces, residential buildings, as well as column arrangements, triumphal arches, and numerous architectural details. With altogether 119 partly folded copperplates and numerous woodcuts in the text. Contemp. vellum. - Variably browned and stained, flying endpaper with handwritten table of contents. Plates with creases in the margins and occasional tears as well as missing parts, right and left edges narrowly trimmed. Binding stained, front hinge split. - First title with library stamp "Dr. Ludwig Fischer".
