Das Werk gehort zu den besten bergmannischen Schriften, die im 17. Jahrhundert erschienen sind. Rößler erfand u. a. das Hängezeug zum Grubenkompass (1633, vgl. Darmstaedter 118). Die Kupfer zeigen markscheiderische Arbeiten, Schachtungen, Stollenbau, Pump- und Hebewerke sowie Hüttenwerke. - Titel in Rot und Schwarz.
