Signed, dated, and titled on the reverse of the folded canvas. Signed, dated, and titled again on the backing board, as well as with a direction arrow. 230 x 170 cm (90.5 x 66.9 in).

• Ulrich Erben captures subtle changes in time and light in a seemingly monotonous desert landscape on canvas in an atmospheric way.
• In the “Siria” series, the artist processes his impressions from a trip to Syria in 2007.
• Erben's works are in numerous public collections, including the Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin, the Museum Folkwang, Essen, and the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich.
