Hauptwerk von Leon dem Hebräer (Don Jehuda Leon b. Isaak Abravanel), hier in der ersten Ausgabe bei Aldus Manutius in Venedig. Die Erstausgabe des Werkes erschien 1535 in Rom. Eine Art Universalphilosophie der Welt, "in 3 Dialogen den ganzen Umfang des Neuplatonismus am Anfange des 16. Jahrhunderts, die sokratische Weisheit, die mythologische Symbolik, die Kabbala und die arabische Philosophie verknüpfendes Werk" (Fürst).
EINBAND: Heller Pergamentband des 18. Jahrhunderts mit Rückentitel und Wappen in Goldprägung auf dem Rücken. 8vo. 16 : 10 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit Aldus-Druckermarke auf dem Titel und am Ende. - KOLLATION: Kollation: 2 Bll., 261 (re. 241) num.
