Großformatige Illustrationsfolge in Farbstich nach Werken u. a. von Da Vinci, Caravaggio, Raffael und Michaelangelo.
Fortsetzung des Gemeinschaftswerks zu den Meistern der italienischen Renaissance von Mulinari und seinem Lehrer Andrea Scaciatti, dem 1766 eine erste Folge mit 50 Tafeln vorausging; die vorliegende zweite Folge wurde ausschließlich von Mulinari gearbeit. Druck der einzelnen Kupfer in einfarbig Braun, Sepia, Gelb, Schwarz, Rot, Grün u. a., teils auf bläulichem Papier.
EINBAND: Neuer Pergamentband. 66 : 45 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Folge von gestochenem Titel und 45 (von 50) Tafeln mit 152 Aquatintaradierungen in Farbstich. - ZUSTAND: Die ersten drei Tafeln mit kl. Randläsuren (Rand verso mit Papierstreifen verstärkt), ca. 12 Tafen im seitl. Rand mit Wasserfleck bis leicht in die Platte, Vorsätze erneuert.

Set of engr. title and 45 (of 50) plates with 152 engravings by S. Mulinari after works of Renaissance artists like Da Vinci, Raffael, Michelangelo etc, each printed individually in red, green, sepia, green, black, yellow et al. partly on blueish paper. Modern vellum. - The first 3 plates with rebacked marginal tears, ca. 12 plates with waterstain in the side margin (slightly into the plate), endpapers renewed.
