Der Burj Khalifa in Dubai, mit 828 m das höchste Gebäude der Welt, und der Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, der bis 2008 als das höchste Gebäude Chinas galt, zeugen vom Ehrgeiz des Menschen die Grenzen des Machbaren immer wieder herauszufordern. - Beide Fotografien kommen jeweils in einer personalisierten Mappen für das am Entwurf beteiligte Architektenbüro. Edition 2004 Jin Mao Tower Shanghai für Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), und Edition 2013 Burj Khalifa Dubai für Adrian Smith und SOM. Edition 2013 enthält zudem eine persönlich signierte Grußkarte von HG Esch zu Weihnachten. - Hans Georg Esch (1964) ist nach einer klassischen fotografischen Ausbildung, seit 1987 als Architekturfotograf und Filmemacher international tätig. Er zählt heute zu den renomminiertesten Interpreten zeitgenössischer Architektur und avantgardistischen Designs weltweit.
EINBAND: Beide in Orig.-Leinen-Mappen in Fotoecken unter Passepartout. 32,5 : 26,5 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Jin Mao Tower Shanghai 25,3 : 20 cm, Burj Khalifa Dubai 29,7 : 21 cm. - ZUSTAND: Mappe Edition 2013 stellenweise mini. verblichen, beide Mappen gering fleckig. Abzüge in herrvoragendem Zustand.

Two signed and numbered original black-and-white photographs, with 40 and 50 copies, respectively. Both are mounted in original linen portfolios with photo corners and mat boards. 32.5 × 26.5 cm. - The 2013 edition portfolio shows minor fading in places; both portfolios have slight staining. Prints are in excellent condition.

another 1 % for the part of the sales proceeds from 200,000.01 to 350,000 euros,
another 0.5 % for the part of the sale proceeds from 350,000.01 to 500,000 euros and
another 0.25 % of the hammer price over 500,000 euros.
The maximum total of the resale right fee is EUR 12,500.
