Lot description
Praha 13:26 - Frankfurt 22:31. 1992.

PROVENANCE: Private collection Munich (acquired directly from the artist).

"Everything flows" says Heraklit. This could also well be the leitmotif of Michael Wesely. The artist does not only capture the very moment in his photographs, but by means of an extremely long exposure time he even photographs the flow of time. A surreal appeal is added to the work offered here through the absence of the usual hustle and bustle at train stations. This way time and standstill become polar opposites.
