Oil on cardboard.
Barely legibly signed and dated in lower right. Verso with title and with the artist's hand-written addrees note. 31 x 44.5 cm (12.2 x 17.5 in).

This work has been unknown to date and is offered for the first time.
We are grateful to Dr. Pavel Liska, Prague, for his kind expert advice.

PROVENANCE: Willi Nienburg, Hamburg (verso with note of ownership, presumably directly from teh artist, since in possession of the family).
Private collection Hamburg (as presentfrom aforementioned).

EXHIBITION: III. Exhibition of Neue Sezession, Berlin, Paintings, February to April 1911, cat. no. 47 (here with title "Eisenbahnbrücke").
