The pictorial spheres of Norbert Tadeusz - master student of Joseph Beuys - are well-arranged and clearly structured but still emanate an ambiguousness that evokes ever new impressions and interpretations with the observer. This painting of a nude on a piano comprises the two main themes in Norbert Tadeusz's creation: the female figure as well as reflections and shadows. The body's reflections on the piano convey the artist's reality as well as the picture's apparent reality. "In the picture places form a new and unreal location that is only real in the picture, transformed and merged to a new setting of painting. (Quote from: Volker Adolphs, 1991, p. 35) [SM/SK]
