Das zweite tibetische Buch in der Edition Kaldewey mit Versen des tibetischen Philosophen Milarepa (11./12. Jahrhundert).

Edition Kaldewey Bd. 48. - 1 von 40 Exemplaren, im Druckvermerk vom Künstler signiert. - Text parallel in Tibetisch und Englisch, die Übersetzung des Milarepa Songs How to gain happiness and avoid suffering stammt von C. C. Chang aus dem Jahr 1962. Druck auf handgeschöpftem St. Armand Papier (Montreal).- Das Frontispiz ist kollageartig mit rotem und blauem Streifen einmontiert, so daß orangefarbenes Papier die Illustration überdeckt, dies erinnert an tibetische Tanka Rollen.

EINBAND: Lose Bogen in Orig.-Umschlag, Orig.-Pappdecke und -schuber von Judi Conant aus Vermont. 40,5 : 29,5 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 12 montierten farbigen Tafeln nach Aquarellen von Gunnar Kaldewey. - ZUSTAND: Sauberes Exemplar.

With 12 reproduced watercolors by Gunnar Kaldewey. Loose in rustic textured paper covers, preserved in a gray box by Judi Conant of Vermont. Printed on hand-made paper from the St. Armand Mill in Montreal. - Clean copy.
