Umfaßt die 40 Bände der von Goethe selbst noch vorbereiteten Werke sowie die 15 Bände der nachgelassenen Werke. 1842 erschienen die Bände 56-60 mit Varianten aus dem Nachlaß. - Nach Hagen hier der erste von zwei Doppeldrucken (C2alpha).
EINBAND: Halblederband des 20. Jhs. mit Rückenschild. 13,5 : 9 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 1 Kupfertafel (Darstellung des Granitgebirges) und 5 Falttabellen. - ZUSTAND: Nur vereinz. gering stockfleckig oder schwach gebräunt, sonst sauberes Exemplar. - PROVENIENZ: Exlibris "William and Lesley Jowitt, Budd's Farm".
