Basan-Edition des späten 18. Jahrhunderts. - "Der intime, oft nach dem Romantischen neigende Stimmungscharakter der Zeichnungen und Radierungen Waterloos hat etwas überaus Reizvolles und scheint besonders auf die Hamburger Landschafter der 1. Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts starke Wirkung ausgeübt zu haben" (Thieme/Becker XXXV, 182).
- ZUSTAND: Die Blätter mit kleinem Rand um die Plattenkanten, meist am Oberrand mit kl. Nadellöchern, tls. mit schwachen Quetsch- oder Knickspuren am rechten Rand.

Late Basan edition around 1790 on laid paper (4 plates with watermarks). 12 orig. etchings, numb. a-m, first and last plate signed at the top. Around 1790. Plate size ca. 9.1-9.9 : 14-14.6 cm. Paper size ca. 10-10.5 : 14.7-15.5 cm. - With a small margin around the plate edges, mostly on the upper edge with small pinholes, partly with faint traces of crushing or creasing on the right edge.
