Erste Ausgabe von Feyerabend. Reich illustrierte Naturgeschichte mit den schönen Holzschnitten von Jost Amman und Virgil Solis.
Die 23 größere Holzschnitte von J. Amman wurden von ihm für Fronsperger und Livius geschaffen, und die 67 kleineren von Virgil Solis für Aesops Fabeln.
EINBAND: Etwas späterer Lederband mit Rückenschild. 30, 5 : 22 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit ca. 250 Textholzschnitten von J. Amman, V. Solis u. a. sowie großer Holzschnitt-Druckermarke am Ende. - KOLLATION: 6 Bll., 494 S., 1 Bl. - ZUSTAND: Vereinz. fleckig, Titel knapp beschnitten, Vorwort verbunden, gegen Ende mit kl. Wurmlöchern. Einband berieben, Rücken oben eingerissen. - Insgesamt sauber. - PROVENIENZ: Norddeutsche Privatsammlung.

First Feyerabend edition, containing about 250 woodcuts in the text of J. Amman, V. Solis and others as well as woodcut printer's device at end. Slightly later calf with label on spine. - Only occasionally stained, title cropped close, forewound misbound, with small wormholes to the last leaves. Binding rubbed, spine with tear to top. Overall clean. - Bound before: Adam Reissner, Miracula, Wunderwerck Jhesu Christi. Frankfurt 1565. With woodcut printer's device on title and 38 woodcuts in text by Virgil Solis. - Title page lacking. - Northern German private collection.
