The work is registered in the Hermann Gerlinger Collection as SHG 404a. [AR].
• Mural draft, presumably still made in Dresden or the very early Berlin days.
• The figure scene on a blue water evokes memories of the stays on the Moritzburg Ponds.
• From the artist's estate, for the first time on the international auctions market (source: artprice.com).
