Printed in 1960. Published as annual bonus by Karl-Hofer-Gesellschaft, Berlin. Karl Schmidt-Rottluff said the following on the origin of the woodcut: "The woodcut is from around 1930, originally, it was suppossed to be a color woodcut. For some unexplainable reason this was not realized. As the block had been preserved and the Hofergesellschaft had asked me to.and so on, I took it on again, had it printed and agreed."
