Verso with a dedication for Gustav Schiefler and with date "Jan 1911". On various types of paper. Up to ca. 6,5 x 7,5 cm (2,5 x 2,9 in). Sheet up to: 7,8 x 7,9 cm (3 x 3,1 in). Backing sheet: 51 x 63,5 cm (20 x 25 in).
Emil Nolde made these both fragile and expressive vignettes for the two volumes of teh catalog raisonné "Das graphische Werk von Emil Nolde bis 1910" by Gustav Schiefler, Berlin 1911. [KP].
