On his quest for a new direction Erich Heckel revisited some of his older subjects in the years after the First World War. The existence of bathers in an unspoiled nature, liberated from the constraints of everyday life, became particular obvious in his works. [EH]

In good condition. Minimally browned and with light brown stains in places. Slight creasing in the outer lower margin.
