• Gabriele Münter had her largest solo exhibition to date in March 1918, in the Danish capital of Copenhagen.
• For this poster she used the lithograph medium for the first time.
• The scene can be seen as a reminiscence of the Murnau and Swedish period

In the winter of 1917, Gabriele Münter moved from Stockholm to Copenhagen, where she would have her largest solo exhibition to date the following year. The two characters, the violinist and the listener, also appear in the painting "Music" from 1916. The sitter is Thyra Wallin, a close friend of Gabriele Münter. [EH]

In good condition. The poster is mounted on light wove paper and thus secured. Slightly uneven at the margins
