There are various versions with the deers mounted in different positions and with or without plinth. [JS].
• Renée Sintenis is one of the most important German modern sculptors.
• The artist, who embodied the modern female type of the 1920s like hardly any other artist, was one of the driving forces in the Berlin art scene and was represented by the renowned Galerie Alfred Flechtheim.
• Animal sculptures are Sintenis' trademark.
• Sintenis created the iconic Berlin Bear in 1956
