Abutilon Auicennae / Chinesischer Hanf, Chinesische Jute, Gelbe Schönmalve. Kolor. Kupferstich aus "Hortus Eystettensis" bei Basilius Besler, Eichstätt/Nürnberg 1613. 47,7 : 39,5 (58,4 : 42,7 Blattformat).
Wie die folgenden zwei Bll. wohl aus der 2. Auflage von 1613. - Verso blank, Wz. Traube mit Aufsatz, Stegabstand 30 mm. - Ausgezeichneter Druck auf Bütten, in ansprechendem Grün, Rot und Orange koloriert. Ein ca. 1,5 bis 6 cm breiter Rand um die Plattenkante. - Ränder leicht ausgefranst, geringfügig angeschmutzt. Mit winziger Fehlstelle im äußeren linken Rand und zwei unbedeutenden Papierausdünnungen im unteren Blattrand. Mittig mit minimalen Quetschspuren. Hs. Numerierung in schwarzer Tinte , oben rechts.
Like the following two lots probably from the second edition published in 1613. - Verso without text, watermark "Grapes", space between sticks 30 mm. - A good, black impression on laid paper. Pleasant colouration in Green, Red and Orange. Margins around the platemark about 1,5 up to 6 cm. - Margins slighly frayed, minimal soiled. A tiny loss in the upper left margin, not affecting the impression and two minor surface defects in the lower part. With weak printers creases in the center.
