• Hand-made print from the best Berlin "Brücke" period.
• Heckel and his partner Siddi Riha spent the summer months of this year on the Baltic Sea island of Hiddensee, the famous coastal landscape can be seen in the background.
• In the past twenty years, only three other copies of this woodcut have been offered on the international auction market (source: artprice.com).
• Formerly from the collection of fellow expressionist artist Heinrich Campendonk and his wife Edith
