Dr. Simone Wiechers, art historian and exhibition curator, studied at the Philipps University in Marburg, where she earned her PhD in 2005. Following positions at the Marburg University Museum of Fine Arts, as an assistant at an art association in Berlin, and as director of a Berlin gallery, she left the management of the fine art dealership Dieter Brusberg to become director of the Ketterer Kunst Berlin branch in 2015. She curates temporary exhibitions, for example, on the Group Zero, Karl Hagemeister, Emil Schumacher, Joseph Beuys, and Antonio Calderara, as well as exhibitions from artist estates and private and public collections, such as the Alison and Peter Klein Collection, Eberdingen Nussdorf, the Kurt Fried Collection of the Ulm Museum, the Museum of Concrete Art in Ingolstadt, the Lenz Schönberg Collection, the Olbricht Collection and the Marli Hoppe-Ritter Collection.
