Motiv A2 from the series of 5 silkscreens "Schweizer Alpen I" after the painting of the same name from 1969 (catalog raisnonné of paintings numbers 224-1 to -5), which, in return, are based on photographs that Richter shot through the airplane window on a flight to Milan in 1968. Printed by Hans H. Hotze, Essen. Released by Griffelkunst-Vereinigung, Hamburg. [SM].
PROVENANCE: Private collection Hesse.
In good condition. Slightly discolored. Margins minimally rubbed and squeezed. Corners with creasemarks and with a small split in upper margin.
