Sheet 4 of 12 from the series "Kandinsky. Kleine Welten". Printed at State Bauhaus Weimar. Published by Propyläen Verlag, Berlin. With the color alterations from exposure to light as mentioned in the catalog raisonné. [EH].
In good condition. Upper margin with minimal handling creases and with remains of old mounting on verso of corners, pushing through to recto. A small paper blemish in upper right of image (in right of upper green oval).
The catalog raisonné mentions the following phenomenon: "The violet and the green in this lithograph are especially light-sensitive, so that in some prints that have been exposed to daylight for too long the violet appears as graygreen and the green more bluish than in original."
