Signed and inscribed "Handdruck" and titled by a hand other than that of the artist. On satinated creme card stock. 32 x 42 cm (12.5 x 16.5 in). Sheet: 44,5 x 53,5 cm (17,5 x 21 in).

• Extremely rare - One of only 4 known copies.
• Handprinted by the artist.
• According to Kirchner, he regarded the works created on Fehmarn in the summers of 1912-1914 as characterized by "absolute maturity".
PROVENANCE: Kunstverein Jena, Botho-Graef-Stiftung (1918-2.8.1937, gifted from the artist, with the stamp on the reverse, Lugt 4337).
State-owned (August 2, 1937 - January 2, 1940, confiscated from the above in context of the campaign "Entartete Kunst", no. 13043).
