The work is documented in the archive of the Karl and Emy Schmidt-Rottluff Foundation Berlin.
PROVENANCE: Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (acquired in 1984: Henze & Ketterer, Wichtrach, with the collector's stamp, Lugt 6032).
