Silberner Anhänger mit Bernstein. Um 1912.
Silversheet, cut and chiseled. The stone is set by the claws bent downwards and upwards, cut strap tab as suspension.
Rear with signature stamp "S. Rottluff". 4.5 x 3.3 x 1.3 cm (1.7 x 1.2 x 0.5 in). Size of the stone: 1,9 x 1,4 cm (0,7 x 0,5 in).
Schmidt-Rottluff received a pendant with amber from the estate of Rosa Schapire. According to Wietek, however, there is no clear evidence that it is the present example. [AR].
• Created during the important "Brücke" period.
• Probably one of the gems that Schmidt-Rottluff received back from Rosa Schapire's estate.
