• Copies of this woodcut are in the most renowned museums around the world, among thgem the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Nasjonalmuseet in Oslo.
• In the past ten years only three copies have been offered on the international auction market (source: artprice).
The work is registered in the Hermann Gerlinger Collection with the number SHG 186 a.
PROVENANCE: Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (acquired in 2010, with the collector's stamp, Lugt 6032).

Buchheim Museum, Bernried (permanent loan from the Hermann Gerlinger Collection, 2017-2022).
Good overall impression. Margin with creasemarks, brownish spots and smaller blemishes as well as with three small closed splits. Image with foxmarks and kinks. With tiny pinholes in corners. Slightly discolored.
