Mandach 52. Signed and dated. Monogrammed and once more dated in the stone. On off-white wove paper. 33.6 x 33 cm (13.2 x 12.9 in). Sheet: 44 x 60 cm (17,2 x 23,6 in).
The work is registered in the Hermann Gerlinger Collection with the number SHG 883 e. [AR].
• Winter- and snow landscapes are among Cuno Amiet's preferred motifs.
• The year the print was made he met the "Brücke" members in person, even though he had already joined the group in 1906.
• He was one of the most important Swiss artists of Modernism.
PROVENANCE: Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (acquired from Galerie Kornfeld in 2012, with the collector's stamp, Lugt 6032).
