Schiefler-Mosel 27/II (of II). Signed, titled "Tingel-Tangel III" and inscribed "Probedruck". One of at least 6 trial proofs in color, aside from the edition in colors of presumably 17 copies. On firm creme paper. 32.5 x 48.2 cm (12.7 x 18.9 in). Sheet: 43 x 60,8 cm (16,9 x 23,8 in).

• Nolde examined frivolous big city nightlife in a series of three lithographs titled Tingel-Tangel".
• Berlin night life is a key theme of German Expressionism.
• "Tingel-Tangel II" and "Tingel-Tangel III" were printed in both an edition in black and white and one in color.
• Very rare. To date only one other print of this lithograph has been offered on the international auction market (source: artprice.com)
• Black-and-white prints from Nolde's "Tingel-Tangel" series are in the collections of the Art Institute Chicago and the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
