Decorative manuscript on strong vellum. - Lacking ca. 8 ll. at the end. - 14 ll. with defective margins (mostly affecting the music notes; 11 at side, 3 at top and bottom), somewhat rubbed in places. Boards somewhat wormed, covering on edges and spine ends partly mended.
Antiphonar. Decorative manuscript on strong vellum. Spain, 16th century. 164 leaves. Sheet size 50 : 35 cm. 6 lines text and notes. With 3 splendid large initials in red and blue, 160 fleuronne initials in red and blue and numerous calligraph initials. Contemp. calf over strong wooden boards with large new brass corner fittings on both boards. - Lacking ca. 8 leaves at end. 14 leaves with marginal section up to the text area, here and there somewhat rubbed. Some worming to boards, edges and spine ends partly with mended spots to covering.
