Müller-Krumbach 52 and illu. pp. 156-57. - Schauer II, 75. - Sarkowski 1348. - Ritzer G 2. - Eyssen p. 95. - 1 of 200 numb. copies on hand-made laid paper (complete print run 225). - Broad-margined print in red and black. Title drawing by E. Gill, initials by A. Maillol, printing supervised by H. Graf Kessler and M. Goertz. The print was begun in spring 1930 and was completed after Kessler's emigration (1933) by Poeschel and Trepte with the types of the Cranach-Presse in 1934. - As so often lacking the second title l. in vol. I. Isolated minor foxing (4 ll. in vol. II more obvious, as well as with traces of damp). Else fine copy, clean inside, of the famous Cranach press print.
