PROVENANCE: Margarete (called Mume) Becher, a neighbor of Horst Janssen, received this rare woodcut from the artist as a present (with a letter from Dierk Lemcke, Verlag St. Gertrude GmbH, Hamburg, dated 19 January 2009, on the provenance).
