The Vienna painter Carl Hasch went on numerous study trips to the Austrian Alps , he laid the basis for his reputation as landscape painter with the exhibition of a large forest landscape on the world exhibition in Vienna in 1873. Being a good observer, he made atmospheric and authentic views of the Alps. [CB].
