Later edition of the famous encyclopedia first published in 1723 to 30. Fine contemp. mottled calf with rich ornamental gilt spine and label in colors. - Lacking the supplement from 1765, the basic work A to Z is complete. - Spine ends of 2 vols. somewhat scuffed, all in all fine decorative copy.
